Alpaca wool is fine, soft, and the fibers are straight, while Merino wool is fine, soft, and has a natural crimp that adds loft to the weave. Blending these two wools together results in a luxuriously soft, thick, warm, and breathable blanket.

To care for your Alpaca and Merino wool blanket, use mild liquid soap or wool wash – no bleach or enzymes (we recommend our Outback Gold Wool Wash). Machine wash on a delicate cycle or hand wash, and lay flat to dry. The blanket can also be dry cleaned.

Alpaca and sheep have their own unique scents, and the fibers in this blanket have not been heavily processed, so they may retain some of this natural scent. This scent will fade over time with fresh air or the use of our Outback Gold Wool Spray.
